◆Story
The tale begins in the distant past, after Earth's ruin.
Humanity survives on "floating islands"
adrift in the vast sky.
For people enduring this harsh existence,
a deity bestowed "floating island ships" and "machine soldiers."
This wisdom brought prosperity and a richer life.
Yet, to wield this wisdom,
an energy called "Solar" was required.
Conflict erupted over this vital resource.
Countless machine soldiers were lost,
and dragons emerged to take their place.
Undeterred, the deity proposed a new contest to the warring factions.
"Place the Warrior of the Ring upon your vessel,
establish a hierarchy in these skies,
and upon the floating island of the greatest warriors,
we shall bestow abundant 'Eichi' (Wisdom)."
Ranks like Sora are determined by your battle record.
Thus, "Ukishima Warfare," where divine wisdom is granted,
was decreed to be held once every five years.
The world, centered on this event,
began its new revolution.
