To play Knowledge is Power: Decades on your PlayStation®4, you will need the companion app. Here's everything you need to know about using the app:
Important Announcement (December 14, 2023):
- Android Users: If you have already downloaded the companion app to your current device or it has been added to your library, you will continue to be able to play the game with the relevant companion app. However, the companion apps for Knowledge is Power: Decades are no longer distributed on the Google Play Store for devices running Android OS versions newer than Android 11.
- Apple iOS Users: You will continue to be able to play the game with the relevant companion app, regardless of the iOS version.
Gameplay Experience: Challenge your friends and family in the high-energy quiz Knowledge is Power: Decades on the PlayStation®4 system with the game’s companion app. Test your trivia knowledge with thousands of pop culture questions spanning the '80s, '90s, '00s, and '10s.
Using Your Smartphone as a Controller:
- Use your smartphone as a controller to play with up to five other players.
- Be the fastest finger to answer questions and gain an edge on your opponents using various tricks.
- Participate in touch screen challenges. Who will be the first to scale the Pyramid of Knowledge?
Setup Instructions:
- Ensure your PlayStation®4 system is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your compatible mobile device.
- Follow the in-app instructions to connect and start playing.
Features of the Companion App:
- Pick your character and snap a selfie using fun filters.
- Answer quiz questions privately.
- Choose from a selection of Power Plays to slow down your rivals.
- Engage in six touch screen challenges by tapping, swiping, dragging, and more.
- Play 'Quiz Blast' and challenge friends to beat your time via the app when away from your PlayStation®4 system. (Note: Message and data rates may apply.)
Language Support: The app supports the following languages: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Greek, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Arabic.
