2025 Apple iPad Hits Record Low Price on Amazon

by Lillian May 02,2025

Starting today, Amazon has slashed the price of the latest 2025 11th generation Apple iPad (A16) tablet. The Blue and Yellow base models, which come with 128GB of storage and Wi-Fi connectivity, are now available for just $319.99 following a $30 price reduction. This represents the most significant discount seen on the newest iPad model since its launch earlier this year, making it an excellent gift option for Mother's Day on May 11. Given that only a few colors are currently discounted, this deal is likely to be short-lived, lasting only a few days.

For most users, the standard iPad (not the Air, Mini, or Pro) strikes the perfect balance, offering the full iOS experience and robust performance at a budget-friendly price. Launched on March 12, 2025, more than two years after the previous model (October 2022), this generation boasts significant upgrades. These include a more powerful A16 processor compared to the A14, increased RAM from 4GB to 6GB, and doubled storage capacity from 64GB to 128GB. Remarkably, its launch price of $349 is lower than the $399 starting price of its predecessor.

The iPad retains its 10.9" Liquid Retina display with a 2360x1640 resolution (264ppi), USB Type-C charging, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, and the same camera system. It's also compatible with the Magic Folio keyboard, allowing for laptop-like productivity, making it a top choice for students, and supports the newer Apple Pencil with USB-C.
