Feeling down because GTA VI's release is still a ways off? Don't let that dampen your spirits, as there are fantastic games available right now to keep you entertained. Fanatical is currently running an exciting promotion, offering an average of 20% off on two of the best games released in 2025.
22% Off Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 (Steam)
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Originally priced at $59.99, you can now grab Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 for just $46.79, saving 22%. This deal is redeemable through your Steam client. This game is a true gem, allowing you to explore the vast, immersive world of 14th century Bohemia at your own pace, whether you follow the captivating main storyline or venture off on your own adventures. Completing everything the game has to offer can take around 125 hours, though I personally spent over 150 hours diving deep into its rich content. It's easily one of the top games of 2025 and stands out as one of the best open-world RPGs since The Witcher 3.
Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Review by Leana Hafer
"In many ways, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 feels like it’s picked up and run with the reactive first-person RPG torch that Bethesda left lying in the mud years ago in pursuit of a broader audience. It boasts excellent melee combat, far surpassing anything The Elder Scrolls has offered at its peak. At times, it struggles with balancing its desire to be a cinematic tale about a specific protagonist and a dynamic open-world sandbox filled with varied side quests, which can lead to some immersion-breaking conflicts. However, most of the time, these elements complement each other beautifully, allowing you to embark on numerous optional adventures while progressing towards a thought-provoking and rousing main plot finale. I was thoroughly enchanted by its world, and its exceptional story will stay with me for a long time."
18% Off Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 (Steam)
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is available for $40.49 after an 18% discount, down from its regular price of $49.99, and is also redeemable via Steam. This deal offers incredible value, especially considering the game's quality and the upward trend in game prices. Released on April 24, Clair Obscur has quickly become a sleeper hit, with Sandfall Interactive's debut major release earning the highest user rating on Metacritic to date. I've already invested over 70 hours and am nearly finished with my second playthrough. With many more games set to release in 2025, Clair Obscur is currently my top pick for game of the year.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Review by Michael Higham
"Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 evokes the essence of both classic and contemporary RPGs, but Sandfall Interactive has masterfully integrated the elements they borrowed to create something uniquely their own. The innovative turn-based combat system is both engaging and beautifully executed with stunning visual effects. While the story can sometimes veer into melodrama or complexity, it handles themes of mortality, grief, and fleeting joy with earnestness. It doesn't shy away from depicting the various destructive ways we cope with loss, all brought to life through outstanding performances by a top-tier cast, giving the narrative the emotional depth it needs to resonate deeply. The game's artistic vision and old-school RPG design are perfectly balanced, focusing on what truly matters and making it a modern classic. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 not only stands shoulder to shoulder with its inspirations but also sets a new standard for future games to aspire to."
