Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Leveling Guide: Maximize Your Camp Manager Level

Unlocking all the adorable animals in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp requires consistent effort in raising your Camp Manager level. Reaching level 76 unlocks nearly every animal (excluding Villager Map exclusives). Leveling up becomes more challenging at higher levels, so optimizing your experience gain is crucial. Beyond unlocking new animals, higher levels provide Leaf Tokens and increased inventory space.

How to Farm Experience

Speed Leveling Tips

Interacting with animals on the map grants +2 friendship points. Complete their requests, chat with them, give gifts, and change their outfits to boost their friendship levels, which in turn increases your Camp Manager level.

Animals rotate every three hours, bringing new requests. Maximize your gains by interacting with each animal before the rotation. Animals at your campsite/cabin stay until dismissed, offering consistent interaction opportunities. Warping to your campsite during the three-hour cycle reveals visiting animals, providing additional friendship points. The "Tell me a story!" option sometimes leads to gift-giving opportunities, yielding +6 points regardless of the animal's preference.

Remember, only red dialogue options award friendship points. For example, "Change outfit!" only grants points the first time you select it.

Amenities: A Multi-Animal Approach

Constructing amenities allows simultaneous interaction with multiple animals. Animals matching the amenity's type receive bonus experience. While animal selection is random, ensure desired animals are at your campsite before amenity completion.

Amenities require crafting time, but upgrading them with Bells and materials provides ongoing friendship points. Upgrading to max level (level 5) initiates a 3-4 day construction period.

Snack Strategies: Targeted Gifting

Giving snacks ("Have a snack!") boosts friendship levels. Matching snack and animal types maximizes points. For example, give Plain Waffles (natural-themed) to natural-themed animals like Goldie.

Gulliver's Ship unlocks Villager Maps leading to Bronze, Silver, and Gold Treats via Blathers's Treasure Trek. Completing a golden/villager island yields 20 Gold Treats. Alternatively, obtain Treats through Requests or Isles of Style. These Treats are universally liked, providing +3, +10, and +25 friendship points respectively.

Animal Request Optimization

Efficient Request Completion

Pete's Parcel Service allows bulk request completion. Send items to fulfill requests without individual animal interaction.

When choosing items for single-item requests, prioritize higher-value items for bonus rewards and experience (and 1500 Bells!). Consider these options:

  • Perfect Fruit (excluding non-local)
  • Snow crab
  • Splendid alfonsino
  • Amberjack
  • R. Brooke's birdwing
  • Luna moth
  • White scarab beetle

Once an animal reaches level 10 (or 15 for some), complete their Special Request. This unlocks furniture requiring crafting (often costing 9000+ Bells and 10+ hours). While time-consuming, Special Requests provide significant friendship points.
