Ark Mobile Now Live with Epic Trailer

by Nova Jan 27,2025

Ark: Ultimate Mobile Edition is now available on iOS and Android! A free-to-play experience featuring single-player island gameplay is included. For access to all expansions (also sold separately) and additional benefits, the Ark Subscription Pass is available.

Our earlier speculation about today's release was correct! Official confirmation arrived just hours ago, accompanied by a new trailer and details. While I won't reiterate the core Ark experience (refer to my previous article for that), I can confirm its availability on Google Play, the iOS App Store, and the Epic Games Mobile Store!

The base Ark experience is free, with expansions purchased individually. Alternatively, the Ark Pass Subscription offers a cost-effective option ($4.99/month or $49.99/year), granting access to all current and future expansions, single-player console commands, bonus XP, free key drops, and exclusive server access.

Subscription Concerns

My only reservation is the subscription model. Many might prefer a one-time purchase. However, the option to buy expansions individually mitigates this concern somewhat. Server access, depending on its implementation, could be a significant factor, given multiplayer's importance in the Ark: Survival Evolved experience.

Despite the subscription model, the core gameplay remains the same. For new players, our beginner's guide to Ark: Survival Evolved remains a valuable resource. Start your dinosaur survival adventure today!
