Aurora Reunites with Children of the Light for Homecoming Concert

Norwegian singer Aurora is set to enchant players once again in Sky: Children of the Light with the new event, AURORA: Homecoming. If you're familiar with the game, you'll remember her previous appearances as a seasonal guide and her record-breaking in-game concert from last year.

When Is the AURORA: Homecoming Event in Sky: Children of the Light?

Mark your calendars for June 9th to 22nd, as this global celebration will unite players from around the world. Excitingly, this marks the first time PC players on Steam can participate. The concert will take place in the iconic Coliseum in the clouds, promising an unforgettable experience.

Aurora's well-known hits such as "Runaway" and "Cure for Me" are expected to feature during the concert. Her soothing voice will guide you through the entire event, turning it into an emotional journey.

The timing of the event is particularly special as it coincides with Aurora's return home to Norway after her global tour, and June 15th celebrates her community birthday. Thus, AURORA: Homecoming is not just a concert but also a homecoming and a fan gathering.

The inaugural concert took place in 2023, attracting over 10,000 players simultaneously and earning a spot in the Guinness World Records for the most users in a concert-themed virtual world. The magic of that event is set to return next month.

The AURORA Homecoming event will reintroduce popular cosmetics from previous years, including the beloved AURORA wings, allowing you to relive the concert experience and share it with friends. The 'Cure for Me' dance emote will also be available for players to enjoy.
