Gear up, gamers! *Call of Duty: Mobile* is rolling out its much-anticipated Season 5, dubbed Primal Reckoning, on May 28th, 2025, at 5 PM PT. This season packs a punch with a mix of futuristic dystopia, a trip to the zoo, and an exciting crossover with NieR: Automata.
The Zoo Map Is Finally Making Its Mobile Debut
Straight out of the original *Call of Duty: Black Ops*, the Zoo Map is now optimized for mobile warfare. This mid-sized arena is filled with crumbling animal enclosures, abandoned gift shops, and a striking monorail track that cuts through the center, providing a unique battleground for players.
In Battle Royale mode, the Isolated Map is getting an upgrade with the introduction of Buy Machines. Scavenge for cash, take down other Operators, and use their loot to purchase essential gear like armor, Perks, and Scorestreaks. Fancy something more extreme? You can even grab the Purifier flamethrower to spice things up.
The new Battle Pass is brimming with goodies, including Operator Skins, Weapon Blueprints, and themed items. You can now customize your Combat Axe and Smoke Grenade with fresh skins. SMG enthusiasts, rejoice! The VMP is joining the arsenal, ready to dominate in both Multiplayer and Battle Royale modes.
The Highlight of Call of Duty: Mobile Season 5 Is NieR: Automata
Get ready for the thrilling NieR: Automata collaboration. In this special event, you'll take command of the YorHa Unit to battle Machine Lifeforms. The event follows a branching campaign structure, where completing objectives earns you action points to explore different paths, reach checkpoints, and unlock Skill Chips.
You can unlock the Kui Ji – YoRHa No. 9 Type S operator and wield four different melee weapons inspired by NieR. Keep an eye out for upcoming Draws featuring Kestrel – YoRHa No. 2 Type B and Fiona St. George – Commander White.
