Call of Duty: MW3 & Warzone Season 4 Reloaded Update

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone's Season 4 Reloaded update has arrived, delivering a substantial content drop. This massive update includes new game modes, weaponry, and a wealth of additional content, generating considerable excitement among fans, particularly regarding the new Zombies content in Modern Warfare 3.

The past few weeks have been significant for Call of Duty enthusiasts. Following the highly anticipated Season 4 update earlier this month, the next installment in the franchise was unveiled at the Xbox Games Showcase. While fans await the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Sledgehammer Games and Infinity Ward have implemented extensive changes to Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone.

Activision's patch notes detail the Season 4 Reloaded update's additions. Two new weapons—the Reclaimer 18 shotgun and the Sledgehammer melee weapon—have been introduced, alongside JAK Volkh and JAK Gunslinger aftermarket parts. A new Mutation mode eliminates Tactical and Lethal equipment from ground loot, requiring players to collect DNA for perks. Modern Warfare 3 Zombies introduces Unstable Rifts, a wave-based combat challenge rewarding insured weapon and schematic cooldown resets.

This patch significantly alters the Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone meta. The recently added Kar98k, previously outperforming the MORS sniper rifle, has received nerfs to its damage range and bullet velocity. Controller aim assist has also been adjusted.

Conversely, several previously dominant weapons have received buffs. Popular Warzone SMGs like the FJX Horus, Striker, and Rival-9 have been enhanced, along with the MTZ 762, MCW, Holger 556, and MTZ 556 rifles. The interplay between new and buffed weapons promises to reshape gameplay following this mid-season update.
