Dead by Daylight has teamed up with the iconic Resident Evil series to introduce an exhilarating new 2v8 mode. This special event not only brings a fresh twist to the gameplay but also features some of the most iconic villains from Capcom’s renowned series.
Players have the thrilling opportunity to step into the shoes of two infamous antagonists: Nemesis and Albert Wesker, who is also known as The Puppeteer. These characters will face off against a team of Resident Evil’s most recognizable heroes, including Jill Valentine, Leon Kennedy, Claire Redfield, and Ada Wong. The intense battles unfold within the familiar setting of the Raccoon City Police Station.
What makes this collaboration particularly unique is the first-time pairing of Nemesis and Wesker in this type of gameplay, creating a truly one-of-a-kind experience. Both characters come equipped with their signature infection-based abilities: Nemesis uses the T-Virus, while Wesker harnesses Uroboros to target Survivors.
In the 2v8 mode, gamers can collect special herbs inspired by the Resident Evil series. These herbs serve various purposes: some provide healing for Survivors, while yellow herbs are used to repair hooks. Interestingly, Killers can also gather herbs, which grant them a temporary speed increase, adding an extra layer of strategy to the gameplay.
Whether you’re new to the 2v8 mode or a seasoned player, there are important changes to keep in mind. The traditional Powers and Perks have been replaced with a new Class System, which introduces a variety of strategic options for both Killers and Survivors, enhancing the depth of the game.
