Your mission is to dismantle this covert merchant syndicate challenging the legitimate House Imai. There are five merchants to track down, each overseeing different business sectors. You can choose to approach them non-lethally or lethally, depending on your preference.
How and Where to Find All Iron Hand Guild Members in Assassin’s Creed Shadows
As an early objective in *Assassin’s Creed Shadows*, you'll need to explore the world, pinpoint key locations, and use provided clues to locate your targets. This guide eliminates the guesswork, offering a clear path to each member.
Merchant Tamao
Tamao, a dealer in contraband, is not subtle about his operations. Skip the intel-gathering and head straight to the Yamashiro region. Navigate to Kyoto, the central city, and locate Honpoji Temple on its east side. From there, move west to find Tamao hiding in his brewery. His staff will mention his refusal to come out. Draw him out by smashing the barrels in the courtyard, leading to a confrontation. Deal with him and proceed to the next target.
Merchant Kanta
As you delve deeper into the Iron Hand storyline, you'll find that not all merchants are willingly part of the syndicate. Kanta, located in the Mouth of Seta in the Omi region, is one such case. You can choose to attack him or use the Observe mechanic to uncover evidence that he's being coerced. Spare his life, and he'll transition to a captain in Imai Sokun’s merchant fleet.
Merchant Ginroku
Ginroku specializes in selling rare delicacies to affluent families around Miyazu Bay. Head to the Tamba region, west to Miyazu Bay, just southwest of Miyazu Castle across the bridge. You can choose to eliminate him for his involvement with the Iron Hand or find a crucial letter in nearby huts that could spare his life. If spared, he'll work with the real House Imai, gaining access to wealthier clients in Sakai Port.
Merchant Kin-no-suke
Kin-no-suke's ostentatious displays of wealth raise suspicions, especially since he employs bandits to steal from competitors. Investigate him in Obama, Wakasa, just east of the Trading Port. Surrounded by bodyguards, you can use stealth tactics like smoke bombs and assassinations to take him down.
Iron Hand
The final target, the Iron Hand himself, is located in a highly secured area in Tamba, specifically at Fukuchiyama Castle near the region's center. Approach from the south side of the castle walls to find him. Expect heavy resistance; it's wise to eliminate guards stealthily before confronting him. After defeating the Iron Hand, return to Imai Sokun to claim your rewards.
