Disney Mirrorverse Shuts Down by Year

Disney Mirrorverse, the mobile game featuring a unique blend of Disney and Pixar characters, is shutting down. Kabam, the developer, has announced an end-of-service (EOS) date of December 16th, 2024.

The game is already unavailable on the Google Play Store, and in-app purchases have been disabled. Players have approximately three months of remaining playtime before the servers are permanently deactivated.

Have You Played It?

Launched in June 2022, Disney Mirrorverse is an action RPG where players battle alongside redesigned Disney and Pixar heroes. Kabam encourages remaining players to complete the final storyline before the game's closure.

Initial excitement surrounding the game, particularly among Disney fans, unfortunately waned. A lengthy beta period and infrequent content updates contributed to player attrition.

The Unexpected Disney Mirrorverse EOS Announcement

The game fell short of its potential, hampered by a demanding shard collection system that made character maximization costly. Despite this, the game boasted exceptional character designs and high-quality graphics.

Adding to the disappointment, the EOS announcement follows the recent release of new story content and the addition of Cinderella as a playable character just a week prior. This abrupt closure surprised many players.

This isn't Kabam's first EOS; they previously shut down Transformers: Forged to Fight and a Marvel Contest of Champions spin-off.
