Dredge's mobile release delayed until February 2025, but a new closed beta is now open for sign-ups!
Fans eagerly awaiting the mobile port of Black Salt Games' Lovecraftian fishing horror, Dredge, will have to wait a bit longer. The release has been pushed back to February 2025. However, to soften the blow, Black Salt Games has announced a new closed beta test, with open registration.
For the uninitiated, Dredge casts players as a fisherman in the eerie town of Greater Marrow. Initially, the job involves the simple task of catching and selling fish. But the tranquil fishing quickly descends into a terrifying journey filled with bizarre deep-sea creatures, mysterious entities, and unsettling occurrences on a nearby island. The constant threat of madness adds another layer of chilling suspense.

A Challenging Port
Having played the PC version, the delay is understandable. Adapting such a vast and detailed world to mobile is a significant undertaking. However, the additional closed beta is a smart move, allowing for valuable player feedback and ensuring a polished mobile experience. This excellent blend of horror and fishing deserves a smooth transition.
