Electronic Arts, known as EA, is currently running an exclusive playtest for their upcoming game, "City Life Game with Friends," as part of their ambitious project, The Sims Project Rene. This limited-time playtest is designed to collect valuable feedback on the game's performance and player interactions, providing a sneak peek into EA's innovative direction with this title.
Where Is the City Life Game with Friends Playtest Available?
The playtest is exclusively available on Android devices. Your phone must be running at least Android 12 and should have a minimum of 4GB of RAM. Please note that participation is not open to everyone; it's restricted to specific regions and participants.
The playtest period will end on April 4th, 2025, with varying closure times based on your location: 7 PM UTC, 6 AM AEST in Australia, and 3 AM PHT in the Philippines. Once the playtest concludes, the game will be unavailable, and you'll need to uninstall it from your device.
Keep in mind that what you experience during the playtest may not reflect the final version of the game. EA is clearly in the experimental phase, exploring various concepts and features for this project.
What’s in Store?
Participants in the playtest will have the opportunity to dive into a vibrant neighborhood filled with activities. You can customize your character to express your unique style and mood. Explore the bustling community by visiting the Thrift Shop for new outfits, relaxing at the Café, or engaging in community events.
Collaborate with others to organize block parties, make wishes at the plaza fountain, and embark on quests to find hidden collectibles. The game emphasizes social interaction and community building, encouraging players to connect over shared interests in art, music, and engaging conversations.
If you're interested in joining the playtest, head over to the Google Play Store and see if you're in one of the eligible regions. If not, stay tuned for our next update on Bandai Namco's decision to discontinue their PAC-MAN mobile game as it celebrates its 45th anniversary.
