Epic Games Store Launches on Mobile: 20 New Games, Free Game Offer

After months of anticipation, Epic Games has finally brought its store to mobile devices, with the Epic Games Store now available on Android devices worldwide. To celebrate this launch, Epic is offering a range of exciting rewards, free games, and more for mobile users.

Which Games Are Available on the Mobile Epic Games Store?

Epic Games is shining a spotlight on three major titles: Fortnite, Fall Guys, and Rocket League Sideswipe. Notably, Fall Guys is now free to download and play on mobile through the Epic Games Store. When you download the Epic Games Store app and any of these games on your mobile, you can participate in in-game challenges to unlock new cosmetics. These include a unique Fortnite outfit with matching back bling, pickaxe, and wrap, as well as a fresh Fall Guys bean costume. Additionally, you can earn a Fall Guys-themed pickaxe for Fortnite and a gold vehicle trim for both Fortnite and Rocket League Sideswipe. Keep in mind, these quests are exclusive to mobile players.

It’s Not Just About Their Big Three Games

The Epic Games Store on mobile isn't limited to just their big three titles. Nearly 20 third-party games from various developers are now available on the platform. Epic has also launched its Free Games program for mobile, starting with Dungeon of the Endless: Apogee, which you can grab on Android and iOS through the Epic Games Store app until February 20th. Playdigious, a notable developer, has made two more of their games, Shapez and Evoland 2, available on the Epic Store, with plans to add Cultist Simulator in the coming weeks. Additionally, Bloons TD 6 is set to join the store soon. While the free game offerings are currently monthly, Epic plans to transition to a weekly schedule later this year.

Despite the challenges posed by Apple and Google in downloading third-party app stores, Epic Games is making strides to enhance gaming accessibility for everyone. This move is a significant step forward in the mobile gaming landscape. What are your thoughts on this development? Share your opinions in the comments below.
