Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the sequel continuing the story after the escape from Midgar, receives update 1.080. This update refines the game's atmosphere for a more immersive and realistic tactile experience. The PC version launches January 23, 2025. While Final Fantasy XVI's initial May 2024 sales were disappointing, sales eventually slowed and ultimately fell short of the projected financial year targets.
