Forspoken is not wanted even for free. The game divided the opinions of PS Plus users

Forspoken, despite being a free PS Plus title nearly a year after its release, continues to spark heated debate among players.

The December 2024 PS Plus Extra and Premium additions, including Forspoken and Sonic Frontiers, were met with surprisingly positive initial reactions. However, this enthusiasm quickly cooled for some Forspoken players. Many abandoned the game within hours, criticizing the "ridiculous dialogue" and weak storyline. While others appreciated the combat, parkour, and exploration aspects, the overall sentiment suggests that the narrative and dialogue significantly detract from the experience.

It appears unlikely that the PS Plus offering will significantly boost Forspoken's popularity, given its inherent inconsistencies. The action RPG follows Frey, a New Yorker transported to the breathtaking yet perilous land of Athia. Armed with newfound magical abilities, Frey must navigate this expansive world, battle formidable creatures, and defeat powerful matriarchs known as the Tants to find her way back home.
