Freedom Wars Remastered: Accessory Usage Guide

Quick Links

In Freedom Wars Remastered, you can enhance your gameplay by carefully selecting and customizing your Accessory and the comrades you take into Operations. While you can't directly control the gear of your comrades, only leveling it up, your Accessory offers more flexibility.

You can issue unique commands to your Accessory and customize it to boost its combat efficiency. Here's how you can tailor your Accessory and manage its commands effectively.

How To Customize Your Accessory In Freedom Wars Remastered

Customizing your Accessory is straightforward and similar to customizing your own gear. Navigate to the Loadout menu, and you'll find the Accessory option right below your player settings. This opens up a similar loadout menu where your Accessory can equip any weapon you own, along with compatible Modules.

Unlike players, Accessories don't require ammo for gun weapons, making them even more versatile. You can also equip your Accessory with one combat item, which they'll use at their discretion. Remember, while your Accessory can only carry one weapon and one combat item, the ability to issue specific commands sets them apart from your comrades.

Accessory Orders

To manage your Accessory's orders, head to the Loadout menu where you can select which set of Orders they should use. You can customize these orders by speaking to your Accessory in your cell. Look for the "Customize Accessory" option, the fifth from the top, to tailor the commands into a set that suits your strategy. Expand your order sets by purchasing "Right To Assign Orders Entitlements" from the Window of Liberty Interface Entitlements under the Accessory section.

Once in an Operation, you can't change the orders, so choose wisely. Here are the various commands you can issue:

  • Follow Me
  • Stand by
  • Use Medical Supplies
  • Prioritize Revival
  • Rescue Comrades
  • Carry Citizens
  • Drop Citizen
  • Follow With Citizen
  • Capture Enemy Control System
  • Capture Nearby Control System
  • Capture Neutral Control System
  • Harvest Resources

Issue these commands during an operation by pressing up on the D-pad or C on PC. This allows your Accessory to focus on specific tasks while your comrades tackle broader objectives.

Best Accessory Orders In Freedom Wars Remastered

To maximize your Accessory's utility, consider equipping the following orders:

OrderExplanation
Carry CitizenUse this to have your Accessory shuttle citizens between extraction points while you and your comrades fight.
Prioritize RevivalIn intense battles, this ensures your Accessory stays close and revives you immediately if you're knocked out.
Rescue ComradesYour comrades might fall too, but their Thorns make them slightly more effective in combat than your Accessory.
Use Medical SuppliesEquip your Accessory with First Aid Kits to serve as the party's healer, keeping everyone fighting.

While your Accessory can deal substantial damage with an upgraded weapon, it's often best utilized as a support unit rather than a frontline fighter. Equip it with a powerful gun to enhance its support role effectively.
