Following the successful Bluey x Fruit Ninja Classic+ collaboration, players can look forward to the second chapter titled Sticky Gecko, arriving exclusively on Apple Arcade starting July 3rd. This new installment builds on the momentum from the popular Featherwand event, bringing back beloved characters Bluey and Bingo for another round of interactive fun.
In this latest adventure, players will encounter Gecky - Bluey's iconic sticky ceiling toy - amid the fruit-slicing gameplay of Fruit Ninja Classic+. For a limited time, slash your way through flying produce while helping retrieve the runaway gecko, all set within the familiar surroundings of Bluey and Bingo's playful bedroom environment.
The Sticky Gecko event marks the second of four planned partnership installments, continuing the strong reception seen during the initial collaboration that reached fans in over 165 countries. The previous Featherwand event climbed to the #1 spot on Apple Arcade in Australia and ranked among the top five in major markets including the US, UK, and Canada.
Mirroring the first event's approach, Sticky Gecko draws inspiration from another cherished Bluey episode. Players will wield their slicing wand, keep an eye out for the elusive Gecky, and collect special rewards including a digital gecko collectible and new environmental elements imported directly from the animated series. The immersive setting creates an engaging experience for fans of all ages.
Announced last month, the Sticky Gecko minigame represents the second of four planned collaborations, with Asparagus and Fruit Salad events scheduled to follow later this summer. These exclusive Apple Arcade events will continue rolling out through mid-August, perfectly timed to commemorate Fruit Ninja's 15th anniversary celebration.
