Kingsroad Chapter 3 Preview Launches Ahead of Game of Thrones

by Lucy Jan 11,2026
  • Chapter Three introduces Stannis Baratheon and the Stormlands
  • It continues the storyline established during Early Access
  • Updates to matchmaking, roleplaying features, and additional language support are also planned

Winter isn't merely approaching—its influence is expanding. Netmarble has released a new developer video for Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, offering players an early glimpse of the Chapter Three content that will be available at launch. The Stormlands region will finally become accessible, bringing you into direct confrontation with Stannis Baratheon and expanding the rich narrative that began during Early Access.

Since its debut on Steam a few weeks ago, GoT: Kingsroad has provided PC players with a compelling taste of Westeros through its immersive, story-driven RPG gameplay. With pre-registration now open for iOS and Android, mobile players are eagerly awaiting their chance to build their own legacy within George R.R. Martin's unforgiving world.

The development team has confirmed that Chapter Three will advance the main storyline significantly while introducing new territories to discover, beginning with the Stormlands and its uncompromising ruler from House Baratheon.

The latest development update also responds to community feedback, with matchmaking enhancements, roleplaying system refinements, and broader language support all scheduled for implementation.

In Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, you don't assume the role of established characters like Jon Snow or Daenerys—instead, you create your own custom character as the heir to the lesser-known House Tyre. Despite your house's relative obscurity, you'll still encounter major noble houses and familiar locations, all presented with remarkable visual detail.

Cross-play functionality will be available from launch, allowing you to begin your adventure on PC and seamlessly continue on mobile devices. With complete progression synchronization, you can experience Westeros wherever you go—though we can't promise protection from White Walkers during your daily commute.

Here's our curated selection of the best RPGs currently available on Android!

While a global release date hasn't been announced yet, each new update makes the world of Game of Thrones: Kingsroad both more expansive and more dangerous. Pre-register on iOS and Android by selecting your preferred platform below.
