Genshin Impact 5.5: Android Controller Support Added

If you're a *Genshin Impact* enthusiast playing on Android, you'll be thrilled to know that controller support is finally on its way. After a long wait, especially since iOS users enjoyed this feature since 2021, the update is set to roll out with Version 5.5.

When Will Genshin Impact Get Controller Support on Android?

Mark your calendars for March 26th, 2025, when you'll be able to immerse yourself in the world of *Genshin Impact* using a controller on your Android device. This update will officially support four controllers: DualShock 4, DualSense, Xbox Wireless Controller, and Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2. Keep in mind that all of these controllers need to be Bluetooth-enabled.

Alongside controller support, Version 5.5 brings a host of quality-of-life improvements. One of the standout features is cross-scene quest tracking, allowing you to seamlessly follow quests across different areas by simply opening the map and teleporting to your next destination.

For newer players, updated boss guides will provide deeper insights into enemy mechanics. Additionally, optimizations are coming to the Artifact system, Serenitea Pot, and Mail system. While specifics will be detailed during the Special Program Announcement on March 14th, these updates are poised to enhance your gameplay experience.
