The hype surrounding Natlan in Genshin Impact is reaching fever pitch! Hoyoverse has announced a special program, "Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn," revealing details about the new region. This livestream will premiere on Twitch and YouTube this Friday at 12:00 AM (UTC-4).
The program's promotional art promises exciting Natlan reveals, including character banners and in-game rewards.
The Bennett Surprise: Free or Unnecessary?
The big question is the free character: Bennett. While many anticipated a free Natlan character like Kachina, Hoyoverse has opted for the popular adventurer, Bennett, as the free 4-star character. Rumors suggest Bennett's origins lie in Natlan, making him a somewhat fitting choice. He'll be obtainable via a world quest. Kachina, however, will not be a free acquisition. This deviates from the usual practice of gifting a character from the new region to aid exploration.
Generous Free Primogems
The free pulls are generating considerable excitement. The initial number of 113 pulls was adjusted to 110, then increased again to 115. Completing all content in Version 5.0 should yield 115 pulls, but even without extensive grinding, players can anticipate around 90.
With Version 5.0 launching on August 28th and Genshin Impact's 4th anniversary approaching, additional rewards are expected. A 7-day login event will offer ten fates, 1600 Primogems, a pet, and a gadget. Combining this with daily commissions, world quests, Spiral Abyss runs, and events, players could potentially accumulate approximately 18,435 Primogems (or 115 wishes).
