After more than two years, PC players of *Grand Theft Auto V* are in for a treat with a major update set to roll out on March 4. This update will align the PC version with the enhancements seen in the PS5 and Xbox Series versions released back in 2022. Best of all, it's coming to all current players at no extra cost, and your progress in both GTA Online and the Story Mode will seamlessly transfer over without any additional effort on your part.
The bulk of the upgrade focuses on *GTA Online*, introducing a wealth of content that was previously exclusive to console players. Moreover, the GTA+ subscription service, which offers perks like accelerated profit collection from in-game businesses, will now be accessible on PC. Rockstar Games has also stepped up its game in terms of anti-cheat measures to ensure a fairer playing field.

Alongside these enhancements, the update promises significant graphical improvements. However, this comes with a caveat: the system requirements will see an uptick. Players whose hardware can't meet these new demands will still have the option to continue playing the older version, which will continue to receive support. It's worth noting, though, that there won't be any cross-version play, so you won't be able to join friends on different versions of the game.
