Morefun Studios' highly anticipated 3D action brawler, formerly known as Hitori no Shita: The Outcast, is back with a new name and release date! Now titled The Hidden Ones, this game promises a thrilling experience with 3D brawling, parkour, and more, launching in 2025. A pre-alpha test is scheduled for January.

Set in contemporary China, the game follows Zhang Chulan, a young martial artist who discovers his grandfather's unique fighting techniques are highly sought after. This revelation thrusts him into a world of intense martial arts competition and unexpected danger.

The latest gameplay trailer showcases impressive combat, featuring protagonist Zhang Chulan and secondary protagonist Wang Ye. Expect fast-paced parkour across cityscapes, alongside dynamic 3D martial arts combat, energy projectile exchanges, and intense brawling.

A Darker, Grittier Aesthetic

Information on The Hidden Ones has been scarce, adding to the mystery surrounding the game's multiple titles. However, initial impressions suggest a visually impressive game with a darker, grittier aesthetic than many other 3D ARPGs. While not photorealistic, the style feels more grounded and intense.

The game's success, however, will depend on its ability to attract players unfamiliar with the source material.
