Remastered Version Required
The dual outfit method relies on the Remastered edition's transmog feature, which lets you change an outfit's appearance without affecting its stats. This allows for optimal stat combinations with visually appealing choices.
Outfit Requirements
This technique isn't universal. While your primary outfit can be any you prefer, your secondary (for transmog) must be one of these three Banuk Werak outfits from the Frozen Wilds DLC:
- Banuk Werak Runner
- Banuk Werak Chieftain
- Banuk Werak Chieftain Adept (New Game+ only)
Access to the Frozen Wilds DLC isn't contingent on completing the main game.
Acquiring Banuk Werak Outfits
Banuk Werak Runner
Reach the Frozen Wilds by defeating the initial machine (adjust difficulty if needed). Locate a Bluegleam Merchant (blue merchant icon) and purchase the outfit. Costs:

Combining Outfit Effects
- Equip your desired outfit (the one with your preferred stats, potentially enhanced with Weaves).
- Use the transmog feature to apply the appearance of one of the three Banuk Werak outfits.
The Banuk Werak outfits provide a passive auto-healing effect after taking damage. This combines with your primary outfit's stats, creating a powerful synergy. The Chieftain and Chieftain Adept offer significantly faster healing than the Runner. Pairing this with a strong defensive outfit like the Shield-Weaver makes you virtually unstoppable.
