The White Wolf is back for the final chapter. Production for The Witcher Season 5 is in full swing, and fans have been treated to new photos of Liam Hemsworth stepping into the iconic role of Geralt of Rivia. These set photos, which have surfaced online, showcase Hemsworth in full costume, complete with the character's signature long blonde hair. The images, courtesy of the fan site Redanian Intelligence, also feature familiar faces like Meng'er Zhang as Milva and Joey Batey as Jaskier, who have been part of the series since Henry Cavill led the cast. Hemsworth was announced as Cavill's replacement for Season 4 and the concluding fifth season back in October 2022.

The leaks also give us a glimpse of new characters set to debut in Season 4, who will continue their journey into the final season. Among them is the legendary actor Laurence Fishburne, known for his role in Morbius, who will portray Emiel Regis.
These set photos have sparked speculation among fans that Season 5 might draw inspiration from Andrzej Sapkowski’s "Tower of the Swallow," where Geralt encounters beekeepers who guide him towards druids. However, with Season 4 still pending release, the narrative could take any turn, leaving much to be explored before the final pieces of the puzzle come together.
It's not just Cavill who has exited the series; Kim Bodnia, who played Geralt's mentor Vesemir, will not return for Season 4 due to scheduling conflicts. Netflix has yet to announce Bodnia's replacement, and there is no official release date for Season 4 at this time.
