Makiatto's Guide in GFL2: Strategy for Newbies

Makiatto

Should you summon Makiatto in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium? The answer is largely yes, but with some important considerations.

Why Makiatto is Worth It:

Makiatto remains a top-tier single-target DPS unit, even in the established CN server. Her exceptional damage output makes her a valuable asset. However, she's not ideal for automated play and requires some manual control to maximize her potential. Her synergy with Suomi, a top support character, is a significant advantage, making her a cornerstone for Freeze teams. Even outside of a Freeze team, she's a strong secondary DPS option.

Reasons to Skip Makiatto:

If you've already secured a strong early game team through rerolling, including Qiongjiu, Suomi, and Tololo, Makiatto might be redundant. While Tololo's late-game performance is debated (with potential buffs rumored in the CN version), having Qiongjiu, Suomi, and Tololo already provides a solid foundation. In this scenario, saving resources for future units like Vector and Klukay would be a more strategic move. Unless you urgently need a powerful DPS for a second team, particularly for boss fights, Makiatto won't offer a substantial upgrade.

Ultimately, the decision depends on your current roster and strategic needs. If you lack a strong single-target DPS or aim to build a Freeze team, Makiatto is an excellent choice. Otherwise, consider saving your resources for future additions. For more Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium guides and strategies, check out The Escapist.
