  • The user also claims that the villain Ultron has been delayed until Season 2.
  • Season 1 will introduce Dracula as the main villain and add The Fantastic Four to the game's roster.

A prominent Marvel Rivals leaker has suggested that a PvE mode could be in development for the popular hero shooter. NetEase Games has been busy expanding the offerings found in Marvel Rivals since its launch. The game is currently nearing the end of both Season 0 and its first major event, Winter Celebration.

Marvel Rivals recently announced details about Season 1, releasing a trailer to show off new content. Dracula will be the main villain of the season, and players can expect to see The Fantastic Four join the game's robust roster. The trailer also shows off a dark version of New York City, which is rumored to be a map coming to the game soon. Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls launches on January 10 at 1 AM PST.

The prominent leaker RivalsLeaks shared a post on Twitter suggesting that a PvE mode could be in development for Marvel Rivals. While details are sparse, they claim to have spoken with a source who played a PvE mode within the game at an earlier date. They also said that a fellow leaker, RivalsInfo, found a tag within the files suggesting the mode still exists. While the information seems promising for fans looking to engage in a mode that doesn't force them to fight other players, the leaker also acknowledged that the project could have been scrapped or delayed. Another leaker recently revealed that NetEase Games could also be working on a Capture the Flag mode in Marvel Rivals. If true, it would seem NetEase Games is working to ambitiously expand the hero shooter.

RivalsLeaks also shared a post claiming that the villain Ultron has been delayed to Season 2 of the popular hero shooter. Ultron's full Marvel Rivals ability kit was recently leaked, leading many players to believe the character's release was imminent. The leak revealed Ultron to be a Strategist with the ability to heal or harm characters with drones. With the addition of four new characters in Season 1, leakers believe the villain has been pushed back to Season 2 or beyond.

While some players are disappointed that Ultron may not be coming as soon as they had hoped, others are busy speculating about the release of Blade. With Season 1's main villain being Dracula, and leaks detailing some of Blade's abilities in Marvel Rivals, many fans feel he's primed to make his debut shortly after The Fantastic Four. With so many new details confirmed and even more information on the way, many fans are eager to jump into Season 1: Eternal Night Falls.
