Marvel Rivals Reveals Mister Fantastic Gameplay

Marvel Rivals Season 1: Mister Fantastic and the Fantastic Four Arrive

Marvel Rivals' Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, launching January 10th at 1 AM PST, will introduce Mister Fantastic, kicking off the game's storyline against Dracula. His gameplay showcases impressive intellect-driven combat, including stretching attacks and powerful slams.

The entire Fantastic Four will debut in Season 1, though not simultaneously. The Invisible Woman joins Mister Fantastic at launch, while Human Torch and The Thing are anticipated six to seven weeks later. NetEase Games plans for three-month seasons, each featuring a significant mid-season update.

A leaked ability kit suggests Human Torch will control the battlefield with flame walls and collaborate with Storm for devastating fire tornadoes. The Thing is rumored to be a Vanguard-class character, though details remain scarce.

Initial speculation pointed to characters like Blade and Ultron appearing at launch. However, NetEase has confirmed the Fantastic Four are the only Season 1 additions, suggesting Ultron's arrival is postponed to Season 2 or later. The absence of Blade, a natural adversary to Dracula, has also surprised some fans.

Despite the delayed release of some anticipated characters, the upcoming content has generated significant excitement among players. The game's early access has already shown promising gameplay and a compelling narrative. The staggered release of the Fantastic Four members promises a steady stream of new content throughout Season 1.
