Gameloft has just released a monumental update for Minion Rush: Running Game, transforming the beloved endless runner with significant under-the-hood and visual enhancements. The game now operates on the Unity engine, ensuring a visually stunning upgrade that replaces its once cartoony yet slightly outdated graphics with cleaner and sharper visuals. Alongside this, a revamped user interface has been introduced, making navigation through the game smoother and more intuitive.
A major highlight of this update is the introduction of an endless runner mode, accessible directly from the main menu, fulfilling a long-standing request from the community. Additionally, individual abilities for Minions have been rolled out, allowing for more personalized gameplay experiences.
Another eagerly anticipated feature is the ability to customize player profiles with nicknames, avatars, and frames, enhancing the social aspect of the game. The new Costume Collection feature also adds an exciting layer, offering players the chance to unlock special bonuses as they expand their wardrobe.
The Hall of Jam is a novel addition where collecting bananas during runs fills a progress bar, unlocking various rewards including story puzzle pieces, Minion stickers, G-Coins, gadgets, and costumes.
New power-ups such as the Disco-boot, Bouncer, Rocket Blade, and Minion Armor have been introduced, adding fresh dynamics to the gameplay. Alongside these, new Gadgets allow players to customize their strategy before runs, providing temporary boosts to distance and performance.
Locations from earlier versions have been visually updated, enhancing the immersive experience. Daily and weekly tournaments are now part of the game, where players can compete against others and earn rewards, adding a competitive edge to Minion Rush.
