Modders have restored content cut from Bloodborne and made it work on PC

The Bloodborne Magnum Opus mod, now available for PC, breathes new life into the game by restoring cut content, including multiple simultaneous boss encounters. While some texture and animation issues persist, enemy functionality remains intact.

Magnum Opus significantly alters the original Bloodborne experience. This includes the reinstatement of certain weapons and armor sets, as well as enemy relocation. The accompanying video showcases several of these new boss battles.

While a PC release was nearly a reality last August, with hints from Hidetaka Miyazaki himself, an official announcement remains elusive. This has left players resorting to emulators and unofficial methods to experience the game on PC.

The recent emergence of a functional PS4 emulator has dramatically shifted the landscape. Modders quickly gained access to the character editor, though full gameplay was initially unattainable. That hurdle has now been overcome, with online videos demonstrating Bloodborne's PC viability, albeit with noticeable imperfections.
