Mark your calendars! The Monopoly GO x Star Wars collaboration is set to launch on May 1st and will run until July 2nd. The event kicks off with a delightful twist: PEG-E, the Monopoly GO robot, finds herself engrossed in a Star Wars movie at Mr. M's private cinema. As she watches, she's drawn into a dream where she and her friends are transported into the Star Wars universe. From there, the focus shifts from buying properties and building hotels to an epic battle between Jedi and Sith, and the eternal struggle between the light and dark sides.
During the Monopoly GO x Star Wars event, players will have the chance to collect a new Star Wars GO! sticker album. This isn't just any album; it's a comic book-style narrative that reimagines parts of the Star Wars saga through PEG-E's imaginative lens. The stickers feature a galaxy of familiar faces, including R2-D2, C-3PO, BB-8, Yoda, Mace Windu, Luke Skywalker, Rey Skywalker, Darth Vader, Kylo Ren, Han Solo, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, Grogu, Qui-Gon Jinn, and the Mandalorian.
The event will also revamp the traditional Monopoly GO mini-games to fit the Star Wars theme. Players can expect to engage in exciting activities set on iconic locations like Tatooine and the Mos Espa Grand Arena. There might even be a chance to see Qui-Gon Jinn and Mr. M compete in some high-speed podracing action.
