A New Hub For Hunters
The showcase kicked off with an exciting reveal of the new endgame hub, the Grand Hub, designed for hunting parties. This new area promises a variety of activities, including communal feasting, arm wrestling, and nightly performances by the Diva. Players can also enjoy a fun Barrel Bowling mini-game, earning vouchers and rewards through various in-game activities. To unlock the Grand Hub, reach Hunter Rank 16 and speak to Tetsuzan in Suja, the Peaks of Accord.
Mizutsune Arrives
Title Update 1 introduces the enchanting yet dangerous Mizutsune, known for its swift tail strikes and powerful water jets. Players at Hunter Rank 21 or higher can initiate the quest by visiting Kanya in the Scarlet Forest. Defeating Mizutsune not only presents a thrilling challenge but also offers the chance to craft new gear from your spoils.
Additional Hunts on the Way
An upcoming Event Quest will challenge players with the Arch-tempered Rey Dau, a step above the usual Tempered fights, requiring Hunter Rank 50 or above. Successful hunters will be rewarded with new armor. Additionally, the opportunity to re-fight Zoh Shia through new quests after reaching HR 50 opens up, allowing players to craft exclusive armor from this encounter.
Arena Quests
Speedrunners have something to look forward to with the introduction of Arena Quests, where they can compete for the fastest clear times. Both Challenge Quests and Free Challenge Quests will be accessible through the counter at the new Grand Hub, with pendants awarded for participation and achievement.
Change Alma's Outfit
Handlers are not left out of the update, as Alma receives new cosmetic options. Players can change Alma's attire through an appearance menu at camp, with one new outfit available for free upon completing a specific side mission. Additionally, you can switch Alma's glasses for a fresh look.
More DLC is on the Way
Alongside Title Update 1, a variety of free and paid DLC will be released. Classic gestures from previous Monster Hunter games will be freely available, while the Cosmetic DLC Pack 1 offers additional items for those with the Cosmetic DLC Pass or Premium Deluxe Edition. Look forward to new stickers, Alma's new looks, and more.
More Event Quests and Seasonal Events
The game will see the addition of more Event Quests and Seasonal Events, with the Grand Hub transforming during these periods. The first Seasonal Event, the Festival of Accord: Blossomdance, starts on April 23, featuring pink cherry blossoms and new decor. Capcom plans to bring back most of the previously available events and quests in the future.
The Roadmap Ahead
The rollout of Title Update 1 and its related content is scheduled over the coming months. Title Update 1 will be available on April 3 for U.S. players, with the Blossomdance starting on April 22. The challenging Arch-tempered Rey Dau arrives on April 29, and by the end of May, other features and a Capcom collaboration will be introduced.

The showcase concluded with a glimpse into Title Update 2, slated for a summer release. Although no specific date was announced, a teaser image hinted at the return of the much-anticipated Lagiacrus, the underwater leviathan, promising exciting new challenges.
