Natsume Brings Harvest Moon: Home Sweet Home To Android This Month

Harvest Moon: Home Sweet Home, a farming simulation, is hitting the Google Play store on August 23rd! It brings you to the neglected town of Alba, where you’ll find yourself trying to breathe life back into a place that’s seen better days. It’s not just about planting crops or raising animals—a whole village relies on you to help it bounce back.

From City Lights To Village Life

With a population aging faster than a fine cheese and young folks fleeing for the city’s bright lights, Alba village needs a hero – enter you. Whether it’s attracting tourists with fresh produce or expanding your farm, you have to do it all.

You’ve got your work cut out for you – planting, harvesting, animal care, fishing, and even mining. But it’s not all about getting your hands dirty. The game also lets you collect happiness, a feature that ties into growing the village and bringing in new residents. You can participate in village events and festivities to level up further.

And what’s a Harvest Moon without some love in the air? This time around, you can woo bachelors and bachelorettes, each with their quirks and charms.

A Return To Classic Farming

Let’s discuss the elephant in the room – Harvest Moon: Mad Dash. The Harvest Moon game from 2019 wasn’t exactly what fans expected. It took a detour into puzzle territory, and while it was fun, it didn’t quite scratch that farming itch. But according to the devs, Harvest Moon: Home Sweet Home is about getting back to basics.

Natsume’s CEO, Hiro Maekawa, has reassured fans that this new entry will feel like coming home. No more puzzles – just good old-fashioned farming, with all the bells and whistles you expect from a Harvest Moon game. To get a better idea of the graphics, take a look at the Harvest Moon: Home Sweet Home Trailer that just dropped on Youtube.
