It's April 1st, and you know what that means! Yes, there's going to be plenty of announcements, events, and occasional trailers for things we wish were real and not just a joke. Fortunately, if you're a fan of *Goddess of Victory: Nikke*, you don't need to worry and can still enjoy their annual April Fool's event.
Characters Shifty and Syuen will be making a return, as they have in previous events, alongside a brand-new April Fool's exclusive character called Mecha Shifty. This heavily armored, up-gunned version of Shifty will be available to play in certain battle missions.
However, it's not just this April Fool's event that's caught my eye. *Goddess of Victory: Nikke* has also released a brand new movie trailer for a film that's supposedly going to be shown in Los Angeles and New York City. Real, or just an attention grabber? You'll have to jump in to find out.
Now, jokes aside, I'm pretty sure that film isn't actually real, or at least not a proper full-on dramatic presentation. Considering it features the joke character of the year for this event. But at the same time, whatever you can say about Nikke, you can't deny that their April Fools events tend to show a fair amount of work.
And if that film does turn out to be more than just the trailer (even if it has more of a humorous bent), I'm sure that we'll hear more about it in the coming days, or not.
