In Metaphor: ReFantazio, aside from the protagonist, you'll have the opportunity to recruit seven additional party members who will join you in combat throughout your journey. Gallica is one of the earliest companions you'll meet, though she won't be fully engaged in combat like the others.
These party members will join your team on specific days tied to the game's story events. Be aware that knowing when they join might reveal some plot points, so consider this a spoiler alert if you prefer surprises.
Storhl - Warrior
Storhl is the first to join your party on 6/5 during the events at the Border Fort. Initially, he won't awaken to his Archetype and will function as an AI-controlled member. His awakening occurs the next day on 6/6 at the Nord Mines, allowing full control and utilization of his Warrior Archetype.
Grius
Grius joins post-Border Fort events but won't participate in battles until 6/6. After Storhl's awakening, you can summon an Archetype onto Grius, integrating him as a regular party member without a unique awakening of his own.
Hulkenberg - Knight
Hulkenberg begins interacting with your party on 6/10, but her full integration and awakening to the Knight Archetype happen during the boss fight on 6/11, making her a formidable ally in combat.
Heismay - Thief
Heismay becomes a focal point during your time in Martira, with his awakening occurring on 7/4 within the town's main dungeon. Following his awakening, Heismay officially joins your party, adding his Thief skills to your arsenal.
Junah - Masked Dancer
Junah, though seen throughout the game, officially awakens and joins your party on 8/13, bringing the unique abilities of the Masked Dancer to your team.
Eupha - Summoner
Eupha offers some flexibility in joining your party. During your free time on Viraga Island between 8/19-9/4, completing the Dragon Temple Dungeon will see Eupha join for the final boss. Her Bond can only be initiated after the deadline, adding her Summoner skills to your combat strategy.
Basilio - Berserker
Basilio awakens and joins during the Saint's Day events on 9/11. However, you won't be able to utilize him in combat until the following day, allowing you to harness his Berserker abilities in battle.
Each party member awakens to their unique Archetype, which can then be shared among other members, enhancing your team's versatility and strength as you progress through Metaphor: ReFantazio.
