Power Charges are key to creating powerful builds in Path of Exile 2. While not essential for all builds, understanding how they work is crucial for optimizing certain character archetypes.
What are Power Charges?
Power Charges act as enhancement tokens for specific skills. They don't provide a direct benefit on their own but significantly boost the power of abilities that consume them, such as Falling Thunder. Many classes can utilize them, though some have easier access than others. The Tempest Flurry Invoker build is a prime example of a build heavily reliant on Power Charges.
Similar to Frenzy and Endurance Charges, Power Charges are passive unless consumed by a skill or modified by specific items or effects.
