Pathfinder: New Guide Unveils Secrets of Sekhema's Trial

by Nora Jan 06,2025

This guide explores the Trial of the Sekhemas endgame activity in Path of Exile 2, a challenging but rewarding experience offering valuable loot. While not a main quest, it significantly contributes to early character progression.

Quick Access

The Trial of the Sekhemas, reminiscent of the Sanctum from the original game, presents a significant endgame challenge. Successfully navigating it provides substantial rewards.

Unlocking the Trial of the Sekhemas

Access to the Trial requires defeating Balbala the Traitor, a formidable boss encountered in Act 2's Traitor's Passage. Her swift, powerful attacks pose a considerable threat, particularly to less-developed characters. Victory over Balbala yields Balbala's Barya, the key to initiating the Trial.

After defeating Balbala, travel to the Trial's location via the Ardura's travel map or waypoint. You'll find a dilapidated temple where Balbala, now acting as a guide, awaits. Place Balbala's Barya on the Relic Altar to begin your Trial.
