Pokémon GO Fest 2025 in Osaka, Paris and Jersey City This Summer

Niantic is thrilled to extend an invitation to Trainers worldwide for Pokémon GO Fest 2025, kicking off this summer! Starting on May 29th, the event will be held in-person at these exciting locations:

  • May 29 - June 1 in Osaka, Japan (Expo ‘70 Commemorative Park)
  • June 6 - June 8 in Jersey City, New Jersey, USA (Liberty State Park)
  • June 13 - June 15 in Paris, France (Parc de Sceaux)

A major highlight of this year's festival is the debut of the elusive Steam Pokémon, Volcanion. Trainers with tickets to any of these events will have a special opportunity to encounter Volcanion through exclusive Special Research. However, please note that each player can only encounter Volcanion once, regardless of the number of tickets purchased. Any additional Special Research will reward you with Volcanion Candy instead.

You can pre-order official Pokémon GO Fest 2025 t-shirts, tote bags, hoodies, lapel pins, and Pokémon-themed backpacks. Keep in mind, these items are available in limited stock and must be pre-ordered. You can claim your pre-orders at the event itself.

Please note that the Lapel Pin and the limited edition Pikachu, Gengar, and Wobuffet backpacks are exclusive to the Jersey City and Paris events and will not be available at the Osaka festival.

Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Global - Join From Anywhere

Pokémon GO Fest 2025 in Osaka, Paris and Jersey City This Summer

Can't make it to the regional events? No worries! Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Global will take place online on June 28th and 29th, allowing Trainers from around the world to participate. Purchasing a ticket for the Global event grants access to exclusive Timed Research for Volcanion, along with 5x Max Revives, 5x Rare Candies, and 3x Premium Battle Passes.

Global event tickets are available for purchase until the last day of the event, June 29th. However, if you buy your ticket by April 15th and play Pokémon GO between April 8th at 10 AM local time and April 15th at 10 AM local time, you'll receive a special Timed Research that rewards an additional encounter with Skiddo.
