Pokémon Go Unveils $100 Ticket for Enhanced Toilet Access

by Eleanor May 23,2025

Pokémon Go enthusiasts, get ready for a premium experience at the upcoming Go Fest: Jersey City event. Niantic has introduced a new $100 Premier Access ticket upgrade, offering players an array of in-game items and enhanced real-world facilities, including "upgraded restrooms."

Go Fest, the game's marquee annual summer event, will be held at Liberty State Park in Jersey City, as well as in Paris, France, and Osaka, Japan. For those attending the Jersey City event, the Premier Access add-on provides a host of exclusive benefits.

Think of it as a Business Class option for the event. The Premier Access lounge promises "upgraded restrooms, portable charger kiosks with lockers, and seating to recharge yourself for your next adventure." While specifics on the restroom upgrades remain a mystery, the overall experience is designed to elevate your time at the event.

Premier Access holders will also enjoy fast-track entry to the Pokémon Center Pop-Up Store, saving valuable time that can be spent exploring and catching Pokémon rather than waiting in line for merchandise.

But the real star of the Premier Access upgrade is the bounty of in-game items it offers. For a detailed breakdown, here's what you'll receive:

  • 100 Poké Balls
  • 100 Great Balls
  • 100 Ultra Balls
  • 50 Silver Pinap Berries
  • 100 Super Incubators
  • 10 Lucky Eggs
  • 10 Incense
  • 10 Star Pieces
  • 10 Lure Modules
  • 10 Glacial Lure Modules
  • 10 Magnetic Lure Modules
  • 10 Mossy Lure Modules
  • 10 Rainy Lure Modules
  • 100 Premium Battle Passes
  • 20 Max Particle Packs
  • 5 Max Mushrooms

The value of these items could easily exceed $300 if purchased separately. Plus, Premier Access ticket holders will receive an exclusive enamel pin badge.

Reactions to this new offering have been varied. Some players are taken aback by the high price, noting that this is the most expensive ticket upgrade Pokémon Go has ever offered, especially as the game increasingly introduces more ways to spend money. Others appreciate the value provided by the extensive list of in-game items, suggesting that those with disposable income might find the upgrade appealing after already committing to travel and entry fees for Go Fest.

IGN has reached out to Niantic to inquire if this Premier Access option will be available at other Go Fest locations.

Mark your calendars for Pokémon Go Fest 2025, which will take place on the weekends of May 29 in Osaka, June 6 in Jersey City, and June 13 in Paris. This year's event will spotlight the release of the Legendary creature Volcanion and the wider release of the Mexican regional exclusive, Hawlucha.
