Pokemon Go welcomes Bruxish and special Flabebe in upcoming Festival of Colors update

by Alexander Apr 01,2025

If you're still buzzing from the excitement of Pokémon Day 2025, get ready for more thrills with the return of the Festival of Colors in Pokémon Go. Mark your calendars for March 13th to 17th, as this vibrant event promises delightful surprises at PokeStops and a slew of event bonuses that no Trainer would want to miss out on.

During the event, your Lure Modules will last an impressive three hours, giving you ample time to catch Pokémon. And if you're a fan of the quirky Bruxish, you're in luck—activate your Incense, and you'll see this fishy Pokémon, which resembles a mix between a piranha and an angler fish, appearing more frequently. Personally, I find Bruxish a bit on the creepy side, but if you're into unique catches, this is your moment to shine.

Keep an eye out for regional variations of Flabébé, which will be appearing in the wild with a variety of colors. If fortune smiles upon you, you might even encounter the rare White Flower Flabébé and Orange Flower Flabébé.

Don't forget to tackle Field Research tasks to amass Stardust, and dive into the Timed Research for rewards like Incense, Four Rare Candies, and encounters with event-themed Pokémon, among other goodies. Trainers in India, you're in for some special regional bonuses too!
