SaGa Frontier 2 unfolds in the enchanting world of Sandail, where magic is powered by a mysterious force known as Anima. The narrative primarily follows two protagonists: Gustave, a royal who lacks magical talent, and William Knights, a young adventurer from a family of diggers who seek ancient relics called Quells.
Gustave's journey begins when he is exiled from the Kingdom of Finney for his inability to harness Anima, a crucial skill in his society. On the other hand, William, or Wil, embarks on a quest to uncover the truth behind his parents' mysterious death and the enigmatic relic known as the Egg, which has the power to manipulate minds.
