Samsung revealed a total of six Mini-LED TV models for 2025, with three models available for purchase starting today. The Neo QLED QN990F and QN900F are true 8K TVs, featuring incremental improvements such as new anti-glare technology, the One Connect wireless transmitter box, and access to Samsung's Art Store, previously exclusive to the Frame TVs. The Neo QLED QN90F, QN85F, QN80F, and QN70F are the new 4K Mini-LED models. The top-end model, QN90F, boasts a 165Hz refresh rate, a Gen 3 processor, and an anti-glare coating similar to the S95F. The mid-range QN85F will be Samsung's first 100" TV.

The new OLED TVs - the S95F, S90F, and S85F - feature several incremental upgrades over their predecessors. The flagship S95F model includes a new NQ4 AI Gen 3 processor, a 165Hz refresh rate, an improved anti-glare coating, and an upgraded QD OLED panel promising up to 2,000 nits of brightness. The S90F will feature the Gen 3 processor, a 144Hz refresh rate with VRR, and a QD OLED panel with up to 1,300 nits of brightness for TV models 55" and up. The S85F, considered the "budget" OLED TV, comes with a Gen 2 processor and is currently the only model available.
2025 Samsung The Frame Pro Art TV
Not yet released
The Frame Pro will debut this year alongside the standard Frame TV. The Frame Pro introduces a superior Neo QLED Mini-LED panel for richer and brighter colors, a 144Hz refresh rate, new anti-glare technology, and wireless connectivity via a "One Connect" box for a discreet setup. The standard The Frame TV will continue to be available at a lower cost.
Samsung QN90D (2024) Review by Jaron Schneider
Samsung’s 2024 mini LED QN90D refines the interface and adds new features that enhance its value. Although it's pricey, its brightness, color quality, multiple HDMI 2.1 ports, and built-in gaming features justify the cost.
AI and Anti-Glare Tech Are the Highlights for Samsung
Samsung is heavily investing in AI for 2025, introducing "Vision AI" which recognizes content specifics like actors or settings, offering real-time personalized commentary. More TV models will feature AI Upscaling Pro and AI Motion Enhancer Pro for on-the-fly image optimization, along with Active Voice Amplifier Pro for voice enhancement, AI Optimization, and AI Energy Mode.
Samsung is also expanding the use of the matte-like anti-glare coating seen on the 2024 S95D, which minimizes reflections without desaturating colors, a common issue with other brands' anti-glare coatings.
