RuneScape's April Developer Diary has all the details on the latest update, Return to the Desert: Pharaoh's Folly. This new quest is available now and runs through April 28th. Survive the Shifting Tombs and alter the desert's destiny with Leela and Ozan at your side.
Everything You Need to Know About Pharaoh's Folly in RuneScape
The situation in the Kharidian desert is escalating as Menaphos descends into turmoil. After Osman commits the ultimate betrayal of his own people, the city is collapsing from within.
The populace is divided, Amascut's sinister influence spreads through the shadows, and the outlook appears grim. Escaping the Shifting Tombs is merely the first challenge in a series of looming threats.
Fortunately, you won't face this alone. Leela is ready for action, and you'll have new allies joining the fight, including several companion pets. Together, you'll uncover the ancient secrets of Menaphos and investigate Osman's true intentions.
Venturing Back into the Desert Heat
Successfully completing Pharaoh's Folly comes with substantial rewards. You'll earn Thieving and Agility experience points, the "Rabble-Rouser" title, and a new bracelet known as Leela's Favour.
This final reward grants you teleportation access across all Menaphos districts, the Sophanem slayer dungeon, the shifting tombs, and all active soul obelisks.
The Return to the Desert: Pharaoh's Folly quest isn't for novice adventurers straight out of Lumbridge. Requirements include level 87 Slayer, completion of the first quest "Beneath Scabaras' Sands," and fulfillment of various objectives from the "Do No Evil" quest within Phite Club.
Additionally, you must construct specific structures from the Fort Forinthry storyline. Only then can you meet Leela outside Menaphos' gates and attempt to save the city from ruin. If you meet all these requirements, download the game from the Google Play Store and Return to the Desert!
