Here's a fun fact: in China, 'Tong' refers to a gathering place, often linked to community groups, secret societies, or organized crime. Keep this in mind because Tong: Food Fight is completely unrelated! In reality, this gross-out food humor multiplayer experience couldn't be more different.
The playful intro perfectly matches the tone of Tong: Food Fighter. This PvP food brawler lets you compete on a 2D plane using your tongue. Set in 'the grimmiest fast-food joints in town,' if Tong: Food Fight doesn't make you squirm, nothing will.
Currently available on the App Store ahead of its expected release later this month, it's hard to say exactly how gameplay will feel at launch. However, it looks just as over-the-top as fans would expect from developer Miracle Tea Studios, known for creating Ruya.
Don't waste food
Tong: Food Fight promises plenty of engaging content for players to explore. With extensive customization options for your Tong and what appears to be a robust competitive system, this title aims to be more than just a passing 'meme game.'
That said, we'll need to play it firsthand to determine if this unusual (to say the least) concept can sustain a long-term multiplayer experience. Fingers crossed for an Android release!
