"Unlocking the Unbound Emote Pose in FFXIV: A Guide"

With the exciting release of patch 7.16 in *Final Fantasy XIV*, players are eager to dive into the new quests and snag the latest cosmetics. One of the standout items is the Pose of the Unbound emote, which adds a fun, Jojo-inspired pose to your character's repertoire. Here’s how you can get your hands on it in *FFXIV*.

Getting the Pose of the Unbound Emote in FFXIV

To secure the Pose of the Unbound emote, you'll need to embark on the quest called Imposing Views. Start this quest by speaking with the Unbound Agent NPC, located in Ul’dah – Steps of Thal at coordinates X:12.5, Y:11.5.

Before you can access Imposing Views, make sure you've completed the quest Picking Up the Torch. To do this, you need to have finished all five role quests in the game. This involves reaching level 100 with a Tank, Healer, Ranged DPS, Melee DPS, and Magical Ranged DPS class. Once you've hit these milestones, head to Tulliyollal to pick up and complete each class's respective role quest. Completing these will unlock Picking Up the Torch, which in turn unlocks Imposing Views in Ul’dah.

The good news is that Imposing Views is a straightforward quest. Simply journey to the Sagolii Desert, engage in conversations with Apyaahi multiple times, and battle a few monsters. Upon completion, you'll be rewarded with the coveted Pose of the Unbound emote.

To use the emote, just type /unbound or /poseoftheunbound into the chat box and press Enter. Your character will then strike the amusing Jojo-inspired pose, perfect for showing off in the game.

That's everything you need to know about acquiring the Pose of the Unbound emote in *FFXIV*. For more tips and detailed information on the game, including our *Dawntrail* review and the current patch release schedule, be sure to visit The Escapist.
