Dead Sails Kraken Boss Guide
Your adventure kicks off in the heart of town, **across from the Gun Store and Hospital, and in front of the Trading Hut**. Start by offloading any excess loot and arming yourself. My top pick? A **Rifle**—it's only **$75** and packs enough punch to fend off most foes, at least temporarily. Don't forget to stock up on coal to keep your boat's old-school engine running smoothly.

Your next destination is **10,000m away**. Just fire up your boat and set sail. You can stop to take out Zombies and Drowned for loot, but the houses along the way aren't particularly rewarding. To keep moving, just refuel with more coal. Don't let the worm on the right side spook you. Hold off on selling your loot until you reach the second safe zone, but stay vigilant against Big Foot and Zombie mobs on both riverbanks.

After the second safe zone, you'll encounter burning buildings teeming with mobs. Clear them out if you're in a group, but solo players might find it a waste of time due to unpredictable spawns. At around **12,000m**, you'll find a castle-like house packed with Drowned, but also stocked with Shotgun ammo and other valuable loot—use it wisely.

Dead Sails Kraken Tips and Tricks
By now, you're familiar with the cycle—**kill, loot, repeat and hope for enemy defeat**. That's the essence of the gameplay. To master it, focus on efficiency by using your boat as your primary inventory. Clear out your bag whenever you're back on board to save time and space.

A tip that significantly improved my gameplay was **stacking Zombies near the incinerator**. While it's tempting to rush out of those backwater towns, efficient loot stacking pays off. Running low on fuel? Just toss a few Zombies into the incinerator to keep going.

Another useful strategy is to be cautious in **Sheriff's offices**. These areas often have a higher concentration of mobs, but also offer substantial rewards in **weapons and ammo**. I was able to keep my shotgun stocked by having a friend clear the ground floor during our town sweeps.

Conserve your **ammo, weapons, fuel, and medkits** for the fortress at **25,000m**. It's still under construction, making it prone to ambushes. I wouldn't recommend tackling this solo; a group of at least three, ideally five, is best. Be efficient when collecting loot.

Avoid engaging **Big Feet** after **30,000m**. They're tough, require a lot of ammo to defeat safely, and hit like a truck. Plan your stops carefully; loot isn't everything, despite how tempting it may be.
The town at **50,000m** is one of my favorite farming spots. It's home to at least two dozen Drowned and Zombies, perfect for shotgun users. It's also an efficient way to gather corpses for fuel, so coordinate with your team to prep the bodies quickly.
How to Defeat the Kraken Boss in Dead Sails Kraken
Before facing the Kraken, sell everything in the final safe zone and stock up on ammo, weapons, and medkits. Don't skimp on taking out Zombies and Drowned; aim to have a stash of **8-10 corpses** for fuel during this crucial phase. As you approach **100,000m**, you'll reach open waters and be ready to confront the beast. The telltale sign of its arrival? **Darkening skies**.

When the Kraken emerges, **everyone must target a tentacle**. The boss has substantial health, and each tentacle can attack if not properly repelled. With five players, form a pentagram-like formation and focus on individual tentacles.

Be cautious of the Kraken's **water splash** attack, which causes AoE damage. It's signaled by the Kraken winding back and creating a water trail with its tentacle. Use medkits generously, as some damage is unavoidable.

Lastly, watch out for the **Roar AoE**, which inflicts minor, unblockable damage and seems to slightly boost the boss's damage. You'll see it as white concentric circles emanating from the tentacle that used the ability.

As you can see, conquering the Kraken isn't as hard as it seems. That wraps up my **Dead Sails Kraken Guide**. To speed through the boss battle even faster, grab one of our **Dead Sails codes** and see how far and fast you can go. Good luck and smooth sailing!
