Vocaloid Icon Hatsune Miku to Join Fortnite Universe

Fortnite is gearing up for a visit from several artists and performers, and the highly anticipated arrival of Vocaloid Hatsune Miku is generating significant buzz among players. Social media interactions between Fortnite and Hatsune Miku's official accounts have fueled the excitement.

The Fortnite Festival account playfully reported having Miku's backpack, while the Hatsune Miku account responded with a humorous plea, asking if anyone has seen it. Beyond the expected Vocaloid skin and a virtual concert, leaks suggest additional items like a unique pickaxe and a "Miku the Catgirl" skin variant.

The event is slated to debut on January 14th.

Separately, a reminder about fair play: In late December, professional Fortnite player Seb Araujo faced repercussions for using cheat software, including aimbot and wallhacks, to gain an unfair advantage in tournaments. Epic Games alleges Araujo used these cheats to win thousands of dollars in prize money, depriving legitimate players of a fair chance to compete.
