War Thunder's Firebirds Update: New Aircraft and More!
Gaijin Entertainment has announced the upcoming Firebirds update for War Thunder, arriving in early November. This major update introduces a host of new aircraft, ground vehicles, and warships, significantly expanding the game's content.
New Aircraft Take Flight
Among the star additions are iconic military aircraft: the stealthy American F-117A Nighthawk, the powerful Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber, and the versatile F-15E Strike Eagle.
The F-117A Nighthawk marks a first for War Thunder, introducing stealth technology. Its unique design, incorporating radar-absorbing materials and angled surfaces, makes it exceptionally difficult to detect. Its real-world performance during Operation Desert Storm, completing over 1,200 sorties without loss, speaks to its effectiveness.
The F-15E Strike Eagle boasts impressive firepower, featuring a significantly increased payload capacity compared to its predecessor. Equipped with advanced targeting systems, it can deploy a wide array of weaponry, from Maverick missiles to laser-guided and satellite-guided bombs.
Ground and Naval Forces Expand
Beyond the impressive aircraft, the Firebirds update also brings substantial reinforcements to the ground and naval battles. New additions include the British FV107 Scimitar light tank and the French Dunkerque battleship, adding strategic depth to ground and naval combat.
Aces High Season Continues
The Aces High season continues, offering players the chance to unlock unique vehicles, earn trophies, and claim rewards by completing the season and Battle Pass. This includes aircraft such as the Bf 109 G-14, F2G-1, and La-11, along with powerful tanks like the T54E2 and G6, and ships like the HMS Orion and USS Billfish.
