Letterlike's roguelike nature means each playthrough offers a fresh set of letters and procedurally generated challenges. The possibilities, and the victories, are endless.
Each game begins with a letter pool. Your mission: create words, score points, and conquer levels. Each level features three rounds.
To progress, you must achieve a target score by forming high-scoring words, similar to Scrabble. However, you only have five attempts (lives) per round, so strategy is key.
Stuck with unhelpful letters? Don't despair! You can discard some, but discards are limited, demanding careful selection.
A handy rearrange mode allows you to drag, drop, and shuffle letters to your advantage.
Letterlike's final round introduces a twist: a special ability renders certain letters worthless, scoring zero points.
Earned points and rewards unlock helpful items to enhance your gameplay. Some buffs are automatic, while others require reaching specific levels. Collected gems unlock powerful upgrades, simplifying future runs.
